Saimaa - Loveliest Finland
Paul Söderström & Göran Englund
Saimaa is the largest lake in Finland, located in the southeast of the country. The lake is a popular tourist destination and is traversed by ferryboats like the one in this poster.
This poster was issued in 1939, shortly before commencement of the Second World War. The image however was reissued in the 2012 by the Finnish post office as a postage stamp design.
