Vintage shipping line poster promoting travel to the Far East via Messageries Maritimes, which was one of the major French shipping lines plying routes to Asia in the 1950's. The poster, which is based on a painting by Jean des Gachons, shows a combi-ship (freight and passengers) slowing passing a small Vietnamese sampan.
