1986 issue of this very well known poster, printed for overseas distribution with the title in English, French and German, but not Chinese.
The Commune's Fish Pond is one of the most famous Huxian peasant paintings. It was painted by Dong Zhengyi, a member of the suburban commune of Huxian County, Shanxi Province, and was first issued as a poster for the local market in 1973.
