Produced in the immediate post-war period, this simplistic and very effective Art Deco design emphasises the power of the train barrelling towards the viewer. By employing only blues in the poster all extraneous distraction is removed and we are mesmerised by the danger of being in the middle of the rails while the train approaches at speed.
