Grade: A-/B+, Very good Plus. Linenbacked. Original foldlines. Two restored tears with no loss, one top centre into the hat, the other is longer and runs on left side along the horinontal fold. Colours are bright and the poster presents very well

Original vintage poster, designed by Renato Cenni, promoting travel to the Far East for Italian shipping line, Lloyd-Triestino. Cenni has used a very strong image of a Vietnamese or Malay boatman on a vibrant yellow background. He has made no allowance for the sea and sky, both are the same vibrant yellow and with one of the company’s ships on the horizon there is a feel of great distance and timelessness.
