US First edition. Octavo, pp xii, 255. Bound in dark brown cloth covered hard boards and in the original dust jacket. An account of the then fifteen years history of Vietnamese boat people arriving in Hong Kong, at the time the book was written there were 50,000 people awaiting resettlement and some concern about the soon arriving 1997 Handover, this being a problem that Beijing had made very clear to London that they did not wish to inherit.

SIGNED and inscribed by the Author to the front end-paper: "To dear Elsie and Les, with every good wish, Len 29 Dec '92". Near Fine book in Near Fine spine faded jacket.
