Vintage original travel poster celebrating the centennial of the 'Transatlantique' shipping company by flying it's golden years like flags from the ship's mast. Classic design executed with precision and dignified flare.

Paul Colin is considered one of the great 20th century French poster artisits. He broke through in 1925 when he designed a poster for the Revue Nègre which helped to launch the career of Josephine Baker. Colin designed over 1400 posters during a long career employing a distinctive and striking style which can be found in this poster.
