Compagnie des Transports Oceaniques, based in Paris and operating to North America and onto the Far East via the Panama Canal, issued this quarter sheet poster design by Albert Brenet in the 1950's. Brenet was best known for his work with Messageries Maritimes and SNCF and he designed this poster with a graphic representation of a Thai dancer above one of the company's cargo ships.

An uncommon poster, linenbacked and in excellent condition.
