First edition. Quarto, pp xii, 269. Burgundy cloth covered hard boards with gilt decoration to upper board and gilt lettering to spine. In the original price clipped dust jacket. Excellent history of HSBC published to celebrate the bank's centenary. Profusely illustrated with photographs and plates, some in colour. The book has a large gift inscription to the ffep dated 1965, light spotting to the endpapers, otherwise clean throughout, and is in Very Good condition. The jacket is also Very Good.
