First edition. Full blue leather, gilt to spine and gilt decoration to upper board. Five raised bands. Large Quarto, pp 848. Illustrated throughout from photographs. Bookplate of Major-General Sir Edward Sinclair May, the brother of Francis May who was Governor of Hong Kong from 1912 to 1918. The book is in Very Good condition, half title page creased, binding beginning to pull a little but remains strong, spine a little rubbed. A Very Good copy of an increasingly difficult book to find.
