First edition. Octavo, pp266. Brown faux leatherette hard boards with original dust jacket. Illustrated with photographs in colour and black & white. A history of the Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Company, which built the first docks in Hong Kong and revolutionised the colony’s harbour and role. Book has a little spotting to top edge and a neat previous owner’s name to the ffep. Jacket is moderately faded to the spine. Overall Near Fine in a Very Good jacket.
