Vintage airline poster promoting travel to the Far East. Artwork by Guy Georget, with art direction by Jean Carlu. Printed in France, 1956.


The poster includes a 'koinobori', which means a fish-kite or carp-streamer in Japanese. Koinobori windsocks are traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate the children's day holiday of "Tango no sekku" in the month of May.
