Air France - Extreme Orient (1949)
Lucien Boucher
Artist: Lucien Boucher (1889-1971)
One of several designs by Air France promoting the airline's routes to the far east in the immediate post-war period. This is the smaller, quarter sheet, version of Lucient Boucher's ''phoenix'' design. Boucher is probably best remembered for his planispheres or decorative route maps that he designed for Air France from the 1930's through to the early 1960's.
