The church in this poster is the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Saint Lorenzo Ruiz, also known as Binondo Church in the Chinatown part of Manila. The church underwent major renovations in the late 1950's, and this photograph pre-dates the renovation.

The Boeing 377 Stratocruiser was a passenger plane launched in the immediate post-WW2 period in 1947 which remained popular with several leading airlines in both the US and Europe through the 1950's.
