Discover Hong Kong via Japan Airlines (1958-1960)
Unknown photographer
Early photographic poster of a Chinese woman on a Hong Kong boat, a theme Japan Air Lines would use repeatedly in its poster campaigns through the 1960's. In this poster the model is on a fishing junk; to her side are nets hanging to dry, likely intended to inform the airline's Japanese clientele of the freshness of Hong Kong seafood.
The aircraft silhouette is of a MacDonald Douglas DC7-C which entered service with JAL in 1958.
