This is one of a series of four posters by David Lam, commissioned and issued by the HKTA in 1969. Born and brought up in Hong Kong, Lam was trained in water colour painting under the guidance of Lee Byng. He emigrated to Vancouver in 1965 and found most of his success following his move. He was commissioned in the mid 1960’s to paint several murals for commercial buildings in Hong Kong including the then new Hilton Hotel.
