Vintage original large format poster promoting Byrrh, which is a popular French apéritif, first launched as far back as 1866. Artwork by Guy Georget, 1961. Georget is best known for his work with Air France, but also designed posters for numerous other companies including Philips, Thomson, Bata and Gitanes as well as the Loterie Nationale. This poster has been archivally linenbacked and is in excellent condition. A wonderful design with striking bright red colours.
