Luggage Label - Raffles Hotel (1930's)

5.75" x 3.75"
L5336

1930's label for the great Raffles Hotel. This is an unusual variant design with the coat of arms in the centre of the label rather than the typically found green oval with a picture of the hotel.

The colonial-style hotel is one of Singapore's best known icons. Built in 1887, the hotel is named after Stamford Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore.
