HSBC Head Office, Central, Hong Kong. (1890's)
Designed by Palmer and Turner and opening for business in 1886 this was the second building on the site of 1 Queen's Road Central. The design was unusual in being two almost separate buildings with a Victorian style verandah, colonades and dome on the Queen's Road side and a facade on the waterfront in keeping with the other buildings on The Praya.
