The Hong Kong Hotel originally opened on the corner of Queen's Road and Pedder Street in 1868, expanding to open a north wing extension on the waterfront on the corner of The Praya (later renamed Des Voeux Road) and Pedder Street in 1893. The hotel later became one of the properties of Hongkong & Shanghai Hotels.
This uncommon and most attractive label dates to the 1920's.
