The poster has a black ink French tax-paid stamp in the plain background on the left. Posters pinned up in public places were liable for the payment of tax, proof being either an ink stamp or sometimes a paper stamp (similar to a postage stamp) glued on and chopped.

Condition:  Linenbacked. Grade A-, Near Fine. The linenbacking has been trimmed close to the edges of the poster (presumably before the poster was previously framed)
