This is one of four posters commissioned by the HKTA from renowned Chinese American artist Dong Kingman. Kingman lived in Hong Kong as a child before emigrating to California but he maintained close ties with the city for the rest of his long life.

Kingman has used one of Hong Kong oldest symbols in this poster, the Noon Day Gun in Causeway Bay which tradition dictates Jardine Matheson must fire at noon every day.
