Both artists have explored patterns and repeated images in their work for this exhibition. Clare has introduced patterns to her works in everything from rows of lanterns and fish to the endless mass of high rise buildings in Hong Kong, all with her unique interpretation of Chinese watercolouring. Elise introduces pattern to her ceramics in both texture and surface decoration - she has been influenced by pattern and colour from art deco fabrics and textiles which lend her work a stunning vibrancy and originality.
